Released in 2005, the High Grade RX-121-1 Hazel-Custom is a rather illusive Gunpla kit in the UK. During a 2am browse on 1999 HobbySearch, I stumbled across this kit. It stood out from the crowd of HG kits currently available here in the UK at the moment.
Wes Murphy from the Advance of Zeta Manga series, pilots this Mobile Suit after his original RX-121 was heavily damaged.

As I mentioned before, the RX-121-1 Hazel-Custom (HGUC) is an older kit. The color of the runners seem rather different from more recently released kits. Even from a first glance, the level of detail was quite surprising for a High Grade kit.

As I mentioned earlier, the HG RX-121-1 Hazel Custom is a slightly older kit but building it was thoroughly enjoyable. I was able to get quite a bit of panel lining practice and sticker application.

I may have to pick up a MG (Master Grade) version of this kit as the 1/100 scale would be a rather dominating force when displayed! Terror-Byte Gaming gives this kit the Builders Choice Award.
I really like this kit, as you said it is slightly old and dated, but there is good enough parts separation to help with custom paint scheme. I just bought a 2nd kit recently and plan to make a custom version.

Dated in terms of runner color, they seem rather muted compared to modern kits. But yes! Loved the kit 😀
